Put Spare Fuel® In Your Trunk And Never Run Out Of Fuel Again
Long-Term Storable, Safe Emergency Fuel for Any Gas-Powered Vehicle, Generator, or Small Gas Engine
With Spare Fuel, you can be prepared for any disruption in gas supplies, and avoid long gas lines, empty gas stations, and running out of gas along the highway in the uncertain times ahead.
Spare Fuel is a patented emergency fuel for any gas powered engine, specially designed to be safe to store in your vehicle’s trunk or storage bay, and also safe to store indoors with your long-term preparedness supplies.
Spare Fuel is specially formulated to eliminate the problem of storing ordinary gasoline: Evaporation, oxidation, and water condensation degrade the quality of stored gasoline over time, causing it to make engines run roughly when used, or not run at all. Of course, gasoline is also highly flammable and should never be stored in garages or basements where it could become a household fire hazard. These problems make long-term storage of gas not only dangerous, but also impractical for long-term emergency preparedness storage.
Spare Fuel: Your Solution to Long-Term Fuel Storage
Spare Fuel solves these gas storage problems because it’s non-combustible and can be stored safely — and indefinitely — in your car, SUV, or truck, wherever you go, ready to get you home or to the nearest gas station if you unexpectedly run out of gas out on the road.
It's non-volatile, safe, and usable as fuel for any gas-powered engine, and designed to be stored safely for long-term periods. In our testing, we’ve run car engines successfully using batches of Spare Fuel manufactured and stored for more than 12 years.
If you run out of gas, add Spare Fuel to your tank and start your vehicle with a warm engine (cold engines may require use of starting fluid). Spare Fuel gets your engine running again so you can drive to the nearest gas station to refuel. Spare Fuel gives you the same mileage for your vehicle as ordinary gas, so each half-gallon container of Spare Fuel can run your vehicle 5-15 miles to the nearest gas station, depending on your vehicle’s mileage. To get more range, simply pour more containers of Spare Fuel into your tank.
All of the chemicals used in developing Spare Fuel are supplied by a major petroleum manufacturer and have been tested safe for your gasoline engine. As a premium octane unleaded fuel supplement (91+ octane), Spare Fuel won’t harm fuel injectors, catalytic converters or oxygen sensors.
Store multiple containers of Spare Fuel in your trunk and be ready for any out-of-gas emergency
Spare Fuel Has Many Uses as Backup Emergency Fuel
Here’s how you can use Spare Fuel in your preparedness planning:
Stored in your vehicle: Store multiple containers of Spare Fuel in every vehicle you own to protect yourself and every family member from unexpectedly running out of gas. One half-gallon container of Spare Fuel gives you the same miles per gallon as ordinary gasoline in your vehicle. For most vehicles, this means each container of Spare Fuel gives your vehicle an additional 5-15 miles range for each half-gallon container of Spare Fuel, depending on your vehicle’s rated mileage. To extend the range of your vehicle in any out-of-gas emergency, store and pour more containers of Spare Fuel into your vehicle’s gas tank to be ready for any gasoline supply disruption.
With your preparedness supplies: Because it’s non-combustible (even throwing a lighted match into an open container of Spare Fuel won’t ignite it), you can safely store multiple containers of Spare Fuel along with your other long-term preparedness and disaster recovery supplies. Stock up with extra containers of Spare Fuel so you’ll be ready to fuel your vehicle, generator, or other gas-powered machines in case of weather disruptions or other emergencies.
For generators, chain saws, tractors, and other small gas engines: Spare Fuel works in any gas-powered engine (it is not appropriate for diesel powered engines). Keep extra containers of Spare Fuel ready for use as long-term fuel backup for your gas-powered generator, for chain saws (adding oil as needed for two-stroke engines), motorcycles, farm and garden equipment, or any other gas-powered machine*.
Extend your gas supply: Spare Fuel can be readily mixed with any amount of regular gasoline, to extend the supply of gas you do have on hand.

Instructions for Use:
If you run out of gas, add Spare Fuel to your gas tank while your vehicle engine is still warm.
Drive directly to the nearest gas station and refuel your vehicle. Do not use in a diesel-powered engine. * Spare Fuel is designed for use in out-of-gas situations to start an engine that is still warm.
Cold engines may or may not start easily with Spare Fuel; in this case, starting fluid, available in any auto store, can be used along with Spare Fuel to start a cold engine. Spare Fuel only works in gas-powered engines and cannot be used in diesel-powered engines.
